Ihub Media taps into Facebook's growth

This article is very interesting. It is about facebook ,the fastest growing social network site. This article talks about Ihub Media, the special sales partner of Facebook in Asia, officially set up its presence in Thailand tap into the rapid growth of the social network site. Bangkok has become the seventh branch office of ihub Media in the area ,following Shanghai, Hong Kong, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta and Singapore. Now facebook has some 4.5 million facebook users. Facebook has become the number one social network website with more than 500 million users aroud the world. There are 72 percent of Thai users are from the 18-34 age group sign in on facebook .There are two structures of branded communication on facebook. One is owned media, which starts with the brand itself. It is the physical and mental property that the brand owns or has long-term rights to use. Another is earned media, which is word of mouth spread by fans of the brand. However the company only expects to have many customers, but they do not set a point.

In my opinion, I think it is hard to become the fastest growing website in the world. But facebook can do it ! Many people love Facebook and they use it to communicate with other people. You can upload picture and status on facebook. You can chat with friends around the world. Most of teenager in Thailand use Facebook because they want to expose themselves. They can show their thinking, and their personal life. They want people know them. But facebook does not clearly specific at the point.

In the same way, hi5 is a good example because it's specific for user. People who like to decorate their website like to play hi5. They can put their creation from photoshop into hi5 and show it to other people. That is a good point for hi5. Many people who start playing facebook begin with playing games on facebook. Then they change to comment and communicate with their friends. I guess the point of facebook is a game that you can play with other people around the world. The disadvantage of hi5 is problem when you add friends. It always takes long time to show who add you to be their friend. But on facebook it easy to add new friends because facebook will remind you very quickly on your msn or hotmail.

I think facebook is easy to communicate with people more than hi5. You just put your friends' name into the box and you can find them very quickly. There fore many people around the world use it because they do not want to take long time to find their friends. Some people think facebook is for collecting friends. But I don't think so. It usually uses to communicate with people around the world but not all of people who play facebook have to collect a number of friend. I often use to talk with my friend in U.S.A and in Korea ,and I think it easy and comfortable ways. I never collect friends, I just adds someone who know me. All in all , I prefer to play facebook more than hi5, And you? Are you prefer to play hi5 or facebook?
